Educational Development

The Educational Development Committee evolved from the Teen Lift Project that was inaugurated by the Grand Chapter to provide nationwide visits for high school teens to visit colleges and universities. Teen Lift Project became The Educational Development Workshop. It was planned to stimulate the interest of high school students in post secondary school education and to provide information to improve test taking skills.  Currently, it is the Educational Development Committee.

The Educational Development Committee presents workshops to students at  P.A. R. K.  monthly. The workshop topics are designed to prepare student with life skills as they plan for the future in today’s society.

Our workshops include Financial planning; Budgeting, Test Taking Strategies, Choosing College or Technical Schools, Career Planning, Communication Skills and Courtesy. During the yearly evaluation our students request topics for the next year and we provide the requested resources.Educational Content and Strategies are still evolving to meet the needs of societal changes.
