Delta Presents 2020-POSTPONED

 As a public recognition program for African-American males, Delta Presents was created forty seven years ago. Its purpose is to nurture this negatively targeted group of young people. As a response, members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. began Delta Presents, which focuses attention on positive achievements of black males during their senior year in high school. The initial and ongoing aim was to encourage continued personal development for the honorees and to provide scholarship incentives to further their education. Ultimately, our aim is to encourage our honorees to become positive role models, entrepreneurs, and productive citizens.

LRAC has a dedicated membership, faithfully committed to family and community on all levels - city, state, national, and international. LRAC remains in the forefront, providing stellar service, and paving the way for others to emulate.

LRAC is one of over 900 chapters working as directed by our Grand Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., making strides in our primary programs. These programs are the cornerstone of this great organization and the foundation on which we focus our service. It includes: 

- Economic Development 

- Educational Development 

- International Awareness and Involvement 

- Physical and Mental Health 

- Political Awareness 

Our chapter programs address the concerns of the local community and are extensions of our national emphasis found in the Five-Point Thrust. We are proud of the work Delta has done in the community over the years. The commitment of this great sisterhood to maintain a positive role through our leadership, volunteer service, scholarship and financial contributions is a tribute to the mission of our great founders.
